    Lt. Uhura comes into her own with her STCCG card. After being mainly a background character in the series, we get to see what it really takes to push all those buttons.

    OFFICER is obvious (they don't make PHONE OPERATOR, after all). Music and Youth will make her handy for Risa Shore Leave and Camping Trip, but doesn't help out Ooby Dooby decks at all. (Sorry.) Computer Skill is one of those skills you don't think you need until that Access Denied shows up out of the blue. (And then you really need it.) And Navigation and ENGINEER are those basic mission and dilemma-crunching skills you've come to know and love from the new The Original Series icon personnel. An added bonus: while a lot of the other basic skills can be duplicated with the The Original Series equipment, things like Navigation and Computer Skill can't, making Uhura a handy source.

    Her special skill, while making perfect "Trek Sense", is also very handy. Need to stop your opponent from making it to their last mission? Hail 'em. Nasty Jemmies a little too eager to introduce you to their new Breen Energy-Dampening Weapon? Hail 'em.

     

    Combos:

    • Lt. Uhura + Wesley Crusher: Hmm... OFFICER, ENGINEER, Youth, Computer Skill, Navigation... I sense some opportunities for skill redundancy here.
