    Growing up with the nickname "Smiley," I knew that I just had to write this card extra. The Mirror Universe Miles "Smiley" O'Brien became the Terran Rebellion's second leader after Mr. Siskoimage was killed. He stole the Defiant-class schematics, built a mirror Defiantimage, commanded it, and with help from our Rom, got Regent Worfimage to surrender.

    Smiley is one of the few Terran ENGINEERs. What a blessing in disguise! First, after using his special download of Construct Starshipimage, he'll be able to download his ship, the Defiant, to a facility he's at. Second, with so few ENGINEERs in the Mirror Universe, he's such a help getting an undamaged Defiant to the Alpha Quadrant. Third, get him with one other ENGINEER aboard Deep Space 9 / Terok Norimage and start ore processing without worry of Reactor Overloadimage. Fourth, have him build a Terran Outpostimage. And the best part of Smiley being an ENGINEER? He'll always be one even with Fightin' Wordsimage, unlike Captain Daximage or Comm Officer Uhuraimage.

    If your opponent starts Tribbling you in the Mirror Universe you can use Smiley's Transporter Skill to beam them away. Or use his skills to help solve Mine Dilithiumimage and Disrupt Allianceimage. And when Smiley is in your crew when you hit ""Pup"image", don't forget to nullify it immediately, since he is "any Miles" - that's something to smile about.
