    Replacement for the U.S.S. Defiant. NCC-75633. Briefly commanded by Admiral Ross during delivery to Deep Space 9. Captained by Benjamin Sisko.

    Federation fans pick up another Defiant-class ship in this "replacement" for the original. Unlike in the show, however, you can have both the Sao Paulo and the Defiant in play at the same time. Good thing too, because like the Defiant, the Sao Paulo has two different possible matching commanders. Either Benjamin Sisko or Admiral Ross can lead the charge on this 8-9-10 beast.

    Combos:

    • U.S.S. Sao Paulo + U.S.S. Defiant + Benjamin Sisko + Worf (FC) + Admiral Ross: Mix and match; there's more than one way to get matching commander benefits here.
    • U.S.S. Sao Paulo + Admiral Ross + HQ: Defensive Measures + Captain Kirk: Kirk can download the Captain’s Log for the Admiral, and Defensive Measures lets Ross use his Section 31 skill to initiate battle against the Feds. Combined with Kirk's built in battle ability against non-Feds, you're ready for any fight.
