Young Jem'Hadar

Jem'Hadar is proof that a card doesn't have to be rare to pack a punch. Since its skills don't help much toward passing dilemmas or attempting non-subjugated missions, the most obvious use of this card is to bring Universal Jem'Hadar into play then combine it with Jem'Hadar Birthing Chamber so you can report one Universal Jem'Hadar for free per chamber, regardless of quadrant.

That combo is the biggest boost to Dominion battle decks because it saves you a trip back to the Gamma Quadrant for more soldiers. But that only hints at what's possible with this card. For each of these card combos, the ability to report one Young Jem'Hadar for free each turn to a birthing chamber is a big benefit.

 

Combos:

Young Jem'Hadar + Yellow Alert: Slow down your opponent while you report for free to your birthing chambers. At the end of the turn when you exchange your Young Jem'Hadar with any universal Jem'Hadar in hand, planet subjugation is just a step away before your opponent even has a chance to get MEDICAL, SCIENCE and SECURITY to his outpost! This tactic can be combined with founders and the great link to really let the personnel fly.

Young Jem'Hadar + Lower Decks + Self-Seeded Q: Get out a lot of Young Jem'Hadar as well as exchanging them with other universal Jem'Hadar. With every one of them getting a +2 boost of integrity and the universal Azet'Izan providing leadership, you won't be wasting any time getting past Q!

Young Jem'Hadar + Subjugate Planet + Colony Preparations: If you use Young Jem'Hadar for the requirements of subjugation on Colony Preps, then your wealth of civilians already there will keep the points rolling in every turn.

Young Jem'Hadar + Ooby Dooby: With so many Young Jem'Hadar supporting one of the strategies already mentioned; you might as well add Ooby Dooby to pick up a bunch of cards and really get your strategy into gear!
