Geology... Anthropology... cooking... Why, that spells good ol' dependable Non-Aligned Neelix! Don't fret if you didn't acquire him yet. You'd be surprised at the number of Delta Quadrant personnel that have that odd Geology/Anthropology combo. Any one of those with a Biologist or cook (the other one in Voyager is Saldin) will solve the mission.
The location itself has its own particularities (and no, I'm not talking about the fact that you can't mention the planet on any of Decipher's message boards). First, it's very quick to fly over, increasing your speed across the spaceline. Second, it's much harder to beam to or from here. That means this is a great location to hide out from bloodthirsty Kazon (or organ-thirsty Vidiians for that matter). Those big ships can't attack your smaller one from orbit, and they can't send an Away Team after yours unless they have Transporter Skill. You can weed out the relatively rare skill by targeting ENGINEERs much of the time, but watch out for those Vidiian MEDICAL transporter chiefs!
Combos:
- Restock Supplies + Temporal Micro-Wormhole + William T. Riker OR Mr. Brunt: How about tasting some recipes from the Alpha or Mirror quadrants? In Warp Speed format, you don't even need the Micro-Wormhole.
- Restock Supplies + Neelix: A truly easy 35 points. Shall I set the table?
- Restock Supplies + Blue Alert: Escape Razik's monster Kazon Warship by landing your Intrepid-class ship here and stocking up on Bio-Neural Gel Packs before going back to kick its butt.
