A Sherman's Peak for the mirror OS personnel? Actually, it's much better, as the "report for free" function is built into the card. You don't need no stinkin' K-7 - and that place must stink with all those tribbles on it! ;-) It also downloads a Constitution-class ship (even the unique I.S.S. Enterprise) for those mirror personnel to fly around with. Stockpile your Original Series Terran Empire cards there and Vortex the ship to the present! It can go back in time to get new loads of personnel at any time.
That ship's first stop? Why, Mine Dilithium, of course! You can even report its two little skills in a single turn, then reap the rewards of the mission's RANGE bonus, thankfully boosting those old I.S.S. ships' 23rd-century engines. I'd say starting out at a natural gas station is prime location. You know what they say: Real estate is everything.
Combos:
- Halkan Council + I.S.S. Constitution + Temporal Vortex + Crew Reassignment: Just download and report the bare essentials, leave the past behind, and start reporting directly to the ship.
- Halkan Council + I.S.S. Enterprise + Ready Room Door: In a single turn, download a ship, its matching commander, and a Tantalus Field, while reporting the rest of the crew for free.
