Both the Cardasians and the Ferengi get an alternate way to attempt a select set of missions. Rescue Prisoners (Cardassia IV) and Distress Mission (Ligos VII) get altered requirements that will be much easier for these affiliations than the original. Even more important, any planet mission with Geology or Archaeology as a requirement is open to Cardassian or Ferengi use, expanding your mission options by six (or seven, if you'd like to use Hunt for DNA Program without Uncover DNA Clues). And if you have a captive to escort on the planet, you get a nice bonus of an extra card draw each turn.
Combos:
- Forced-Labor Camp x2 + Rescue Prisoners + Distress Mission + Morta: Redundant mission requirements always make for efficient deck design. Morta supplies the skills, while any random selection of Ferengi can contribute the STRENGTH.
- Forced-Labor Camp + opponent's Cardassia IV: If he seeded universal Bajorans underneath, you capture them when you solve the mission, automatically providing you with the means to your additional card draws.
- Forced-Labor Camp + Colony Preparations + 75th Rule of Acquisition: Haven't you always wanted to colonize the Gamma Quadrant? Now you don't have to play Klingon or Bajoran to do so. Throw in a 75th Rule on a personnel with Acquisition plus any one of the Colony Preparations requirements, for an extra 10 points or five Gold-Pressed Latinum.
